Probably new species of Aridarum???

I really love my homeland. Everytime I go to explore new place & I will find some aroids that I never seen before. This one should be an Aridarum....probably new species? This one is found in upper Batang Lemanak of Sarawak.


It has long & very narrow leaf!!!


The habitat:



The stem is very long; between 10 to 20cm!!!

Cryptocoryne longicauda from Samarahan

Due to the demand for houses is high, the habitat of Cryptocoryne longicauda from Samarahan will be destroyed soon. The alluvial forest will be cleared for building houses and the streams where thousand of Cryptocoryne longicauda live will be become the concrete drains.







Homalomena is competing with Crypt. longicauda for space....
