Inter-monsoon season (March) is the flowering season for Coelogyne asperata (orchid). This one is found growing in the ground next to a river.

This new species of Bucephalandra from Kalimantan Barat of Indonesian Borneo will have a new name soon. So far, I only called it Bucephalandra "dark velvet".....

Bucephalandra pygmaea from lower Rajang river (Kanowit area) has much longer leaf compared to the same species from Kapit area.

Bucephalandra pygmaea grows together with Cryptocoryne striolata.
