Never ending lockdown day 42: Photographing the Stout-Embolus Ant-Mimic Jumper (Myrmarachne crassembolus) which is hanging in the mid air cos its prey (a mosquito) is flying off when it caught it & this spider managed to hang on in mid air by using the "safety line', the silk.

Never ending lockdown day 40: Photographing flowers of Latana camara that planted by me since last year. I planted it to attract the butterfly but unfortunately, there is none visiting it. Population of butterfly in my area has been decreased sharply. I used to see butterflies flying in my garden when I was young, but now I may laugh if I could see one flying pass me.

Never ending lockdown day 39: Photographing the zebra dove (Geopelia striata) in front of my house. It is the most common dove here. It even built a nest not far from my sleeping room.

Never ending lockdown day 35: Photographing Spotted-necked dove (Streptopelia chinensis) at my home. Population of this native dove keep on increasing cos it adapted to live near human settlement. I even found bigger population inside oil palm estates. It replaced our jungle bird which most of them can not survive in this new environment consisted of single type of African palm tree.

Never ending lockdown day 34: Photographing Asian ant mantis (Odontomantis planiceps) in my garden. The nymph of this mantis is mimicking an ant to prevent the predator to eat it.

Lockdown day 31. Harvesting a "heart-shaped" sugar apple (Annona squamosa) in my garden. This is the 1st fruit after planting it for 4 years.

Lockdown day 30- biding at home: White-Breasted Waterhen (Amaurornis phoenicurus) from my neighbourhood. It always like to chase away other birds when i put the leftover food on the ground for nearby dogs or birds.

Lockdown day 29- biding at home: Long-tailed Shrike (Lanius schach schach) from my neighbourhood. This insect-eating bird used to be rare in urban area but now it is becoming a common bird here cos more forests are turned into grassland and parks; it is easier for it to hunt the insects.
