Macro photography at home on day 22 of lockdown
June 22, 2021 Lockdown day 22: Macro photography at home: photographing an unknown giant fly which got shinny blue coloured body with yellow "butt". It is as big as my thumb.
Bird photography at home on day 21 of lockdown
Lockdown day 21. Observing bird at home. Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis) has smaller population compared to the black coloured Javan Myna (Acridotheres javanicus). However, it is a "gangster" in my neighbourhood. They like to chase away any birds when I put the leftover food on the ground for the neighbourhood dogs (or birds). Like Javan Myna, they are not supposed to be here in our homeland. Somebody brought it here either by accident or purposely released it (?).
Bird photography at home on day 20 of lockdown
Lockdown day 20. Observing bird at home. Javan Myna (Acridotheres javanicus) is getting common here in Sarawak. Feral population is expanding fast. During my childhood, there was no such bird here in my neighbourhood.
