plants from mountains of Sabah (part 1)

At last, I meet this beauty at the mossy forest of Sabah: Nepenthes macrophylla (rare pitcher plant which is endemic to northern Borneo).

Nepenthes lowii from Sabah.

The dropping of mountain shrew on the pitcher of Nepenthes lowii. We saw the mountain shrew but failed to photograph the animal.

Alocasia cuprea (aroid).

The flower of this lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus sp.) from Sabah is so cute!

Found one of the smallest Bulbophyllum orchids at the mossy forest of Sabah. The leaf is very small....smaller than our 5 cents coin.

Same species as above.

Chelonistele lurida (orchid).
