Western Tarsier (Tarsius bancanus) of Sarawak (Aug 2011)
Western Tarsier (Tarsius bancanus) only comes out at night. It jumps from tree/vines to tree to look for insects to eat. This is my first time to photograph it!

Exploring in a limestone hill isolated from others limestone hill formation in western Sarawak...
Caterpillar of Eudocima moth:
Amorphophallus hewittii.
Probably Schismatoglottis multiflora?
Terrestrial orchid, Nervilia sp. (Probably N. discolor)
Nepenthes mirabilis (pitcher plant).
Giant tree.

Giant Begonia from an isolated limestone hill
Today, I found the biggest Begonia that i ever seen in western Sarawak.....in an isolated limestone hill far away from Bau & Padawan limestone formation:
We used money note as a scale for the size:
