The largest pitcher plant from Borneo

Nepenthes rajah is the largest pitcher plant from Borneo island. It only grows in open space of the slope of Mt. Kinabalu & Mt. Tambuyukon.

The habitat: open area of a slope.

The mosquitoes larvae lives inside the pitcher.


This one is the natural cross hybrid species between N. rajah & N. villosa called Nepenthes x kinabaluensis.
