Flora from Mount Santubong (part 1)

Corybas carinatus from Gunung Santubong. (Helmet orchid)



The cute & small sized Nepethes tentaculata (pitcher plant) at summit of Santubong.


Nepenthes albomarginata.

Nepenthes vietchii.


Haenkelia argentea 






Gesneriad plant (Gesneriaceae) from Santubong & a nice looking fern growing next to it.



Didymocarpus sp. from sandstone cliff of Santubong.

  1. These Nepenthes and Gesneriads plants are really eye-catching. Just finished my first trip in Sabah, sorting with google information about the local plants, and then find your blog. :)

    Next year I may visit Sabah again and hopefully I will have my trip to Sarawak in short time.
