New aroid from middle Rajang river basin

This rheophytic aroid which looks like Piptospatha is a new species...and probably a new genus!

    Quite an amazing spathe - naver seen anything like it. The leaves are quite special too. Must have been a nice experience to find it. Nice catch.

    Thanks Niels. It is a new species. First time found a Piptospatha with very unique spathe & coloration.
