  1. Just a quick question Mike: it feels like Bucephelandra's usualy grow emersed but can stand being submerged, while Crypto's usualy grow submerged but can stand being emersed. Does that seem true to you? Or are both usualy emersed but can stand the high waters in the rainy season?

  2. Yes, it can survive in underwater. During raining season, most of them are submerged under water. But some species of Bucephalandra are usually growing underwater (Bucep. pygmaea)

  3. Ok thanks. Just seem strange for a plant to flower underwater. I didn't think pollinators would get tot hem.

    1. It only flowers mostly on dry season when water level is not high/plant in emersed condition.
