Ari Gawai (harvest festival) holiday outing

Tiger orchid & Dendrobium orchid.

Nepenthes hispida.

Epigeneium orchid fell down to the ground. Going to rot & died.

Usually I don't bother to rescue the orchid which fell down to the ground cos it's part of eco-system (the rotten plants become the "food" for other living flora & fauna). But this Epigeneium orchid is rarely seen by me in the jungle. I decided to plant some back (those fell down to the ground with the tree) to the nearby trees. Hope they can survive. 90% of the clump of Epigeneium orchid are already rotten.

Nepenthes hispida

Wild ginger.

The "sun leaf" of a clump of Bucephalandra. (gowing under direct sunlight)

The "shade leaf" of a clump of Bucephalandra. Growing under the shade.
