Begonia promethea & Schismatoglottis asperata from Sarawak

Begonia promethea (used to be called Begonia beccarii) is a valid name as it was first described under this name but later, another botanist named it as Begonia beccarii. To avoid confusion, the researchers choose its oldest name "Begonia promethea" as its valid name for this species. it can be found in Sarawak & Kalimantan Barat (western part of Borneo island).

Schismatoglottis asperata from this colony has variegated leaf & different type of leaf pattern.
