Due to the demand for houses is high, the habitat of Cryptocoryne longicauda from Samarahan will be destroyed soon. The alluvial forest will be cleared for building houses and the streams where thousand of Cryptocoryne longicauda live will be become the concrete drains.

Homalomena is competing with Crypt. longicauda for space....

Bucephalandra "grey" found near waterfalls!!!

First time found this Bucephalandra "grey" or "pearl gray" near some waterfalls. Well, not all are grey coloured, most of them are apple green coloured.....with tiny white spots on the blade (leaf surface), midrib & lateral veins.

This one got very round leaves.
