Bucephalandra from Batang Sadong area

Today, I found Bucephalandra from a new location at Batang Sadong area. The leaf is narrow shaped....and the edge of the leaf is undulated.

It is growing together with Aridarum crassum.

A hill @ the border

When i climbed up at hill near Sarawak-Kalimantan border, I saw a patch of forest is burning over Kalimantan side.

This steep hill near border is almost 500 feet high....but got mosses growing all over the place (near summit)....a bit like mossy forest. Very interesting place.

After 2 hours of waiting, finally i got the clear shot of green broadbill (Calyptomena viridis).

Bucephalandra pygmaea from Kanowit

This new species of Bucephalandra from Kanowit should be same species as Bucephalandra from Kapit which is recently described & now it s called Bucephalandra pygmaea.
