Mass blooming of slipper orchid (Paphiopedilum stonei) in Sarawak

June 5th, 2019: First time for me to see mass blooming of Paphiopedilum stonei in a limestone outcrop that nobody been there before. 9 plants are blooming & 2 plants are producing seed capsules. Unusual to see them blooming in June.

That day (June 5th), I didn't expect to find slipper orchid in the jungle. I was having the back pain and decided not to climb any mountains but somehow, i walked pass a hill and then I "felt" got something up there so i climbed up n found 9 slipper orchids are blooming! Amazing!!!!
