The researchers just described this species of licorice gourami from Batang Kayan of Lundu, Sarawak. It is called Parosphromenus barbarae. This tiny little fish used to be common in Lundu area but now, I can not find it anymore due to destruction of habitat and also another dominant species, crocking gourami is replacing it in the drainage system there.
