Wild plants from jungle of Kalbar (part 1)

Big Begonia...found it near Kapuas river.





This small plant growing near the waterfall looks like Bucephalandra....but in fact, it is NOT an aroid. It is called Myrmeconauclea strigosa.

The flower of Myrmeconauclea strigosa. (Family: Rubiaceae) Grow near waterfall at Kalimantan.


The ginger is called Tamijia flagellaris. First time "met" it at Kalimantan Barat.

Mini Eriocaulon.

Thrixspermum orchid. (small sized)
