Flora from the peat swamp & Kerangas forest of Lundu

Nepenthes mirabilis var. echinostoma (a variety of Nepenthes mirabilis). 


Nepenthes mirabilis var. echinostoma from Lundu is very much different from those in northern Sarawak. Unfortunately, someone took almost all the plants in that location...only 2 plants left!!! Terrible guy!




This Nepenthes mirabilis is a cross hybrid between the normal form of Nepenthes mirabilis & Nepenthes mirabilis var. echinostoma.

    I might have to find a population myself in Lundu to explore when I am in Kuching next.
