I never expected to find a new genus (also new species) of rheophytic aroid in Sabah in this trip.....leaf looks like Aridarum but inflorescence looks like Bucephalandra. It grows together with another new species of Bucephalandra on ultramafic rocks near waterfall. Yahoooo!!!!

After opening the white spathe, the spadix of this new species of aroid from Sabah looks very similar to the spadix of Bucephalandra except the most lower part is different.....new genus & new record in Sabah!
